About The Rev. Otero
The Rev. Edgar Otero is originally from Puerto Rico. He has a BS in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Philosophy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico and MDiv from Candler School of Theology at Emory University. Fr. Otero is married to The Rev. Marycelis Otero and has two sons Eliam and Edgar Jr. Fr. Otero was ordained on January 26, 2022. Fr. Otero have served as a Priest in Charge at St. Anthony’s Episcopal in Winder, GA, as Upper School Chaplain at St. Benedict’s Episcopal School and currently he is the Rector (Senior Pastor) of Christ Church Episcopal in Norcross, GA. Fr. Otero made history in the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta as the first Hispanic called as a Rector in the Diocese.
